Mansfield to Merrijig Gravel Loop

While staying in Mansfield, my partner and I were searching for a small gravel loop that we could do on New Years Day when we stumbled across this.

We were in for a treat! The great thing about Mansfield is that is has these fantastically maintained gravel roads that pretty much parallel to Mt Buller Rd with sweeping views over the countryside and Mt Buller itself.

The Merrijig Motor Inn is a welcomed coffee stop midway through the ride before you enjoy the winding gravel heading back into Mansfield.

If you’re out this way, I’d suggest that this a must ride gravel route!
